In and out, that is how the tides of writing go. I like to write things that are loose and unshackled by the specificity of a project, but sometimes those projects grab hold of you with a very specific gravity.

I set up places for both types of writing and this place happens to be a little looser. Sometimes the looser writing takes longer to arrive at, or it places itself elsewhere. I love this site and return to it on and off.

You must always listen for the music and the world and pick up your instrument when you are called to it. I hear this site calling to me again, so I am going to be accompanying the tune it summons for me.
