Coming off the end of a big project, you need a bit of breathing space. You want to do something different.

How do you formulate that? Well, one thing I have had a desire to finish for the longest time is some of my longform work — all of which are in various states of not being finished.

The small projects are things that have made it possible for me to keep moving forward with some ideas, but there are larger works that have been sat there waiting to be finished, and some stories that deserve that larger canvas.

I want the year to be different creatively, and we will see how that mans out. One thing is the resurrection of this blog on a daily basis.
