How you tell a story is very important. Have you watched the series Dear … on Apple TV?

It is pretty inspiring. It takes you through someone’s biography by looking at how they have influenced others — these others walk you through their lives, in beautifully choreographed ambulations, as they read a letter to the influencer. Many times you will find your eyes wrapped in tears.

What do I think when I see something like that? That I want to be like the influencers, but that I also want to make stories that resonate like these do.

No matter what the insecure and broken down me has told myself, I can write, and the things I choose to communicate and the way I do it, does move people.

You have to recognise what you are doing and what is happening, and you to make sure never to listen to the naysayers.
