Different genres and their conventions, if learned, are perfect for making something more interesting of whatever genre you are currently working in.

It is interesting how shifting around in the skin of one type of story and painting it to look like something entirely other can have a profound impact on how the story delivers, and how it is received.

Does it always work? Maybe not, but what kind of world would live in, and what kind of art would we have to suffer, if people never made mistakes along the evolutionary path?

I like to push and pull in different ways, and sometimes one direction is picked because the other has been exhausted as a route to anywhere.

Sometimes it is new platform and the demands or formats they impose on posts, and sometimes it might be a new collaborator. Until you start the journey you never know – but you have to take that first step.
